Wrongful Death

A wrongful death occurs when the negligent or unlawful behavior of an individual or company causes the death of another.  These deaths may arise in all sorts of circumstances:

• a doctor fails to correctly diagnose a fatal disease, such as cancer;
• an auto manufacturer produces an SUV that exhibits a tendency to overturn or rollover in certain situations; and
• a drunk driver crashes into another car and causes a fatality.
